On the eve of Russia, the iPhone 16e, which renews the iPhone 16 line and offers the usual functionality at a more affordable price, has started. We compared Apple innovation with previous models.
Design
The new model decided to return to the previous design similar to the iPhone 14. The case is made of flat -faced aluminum and made of matte glass without rear panel printing.
Unlike the normal iPhone 16 with five colors, the iPhone 16e has only two of them: black and white. In weight, it is slightly lighter than the previous model: innovation is 167 grams, the past is 170 grams.
Instead of the silent mode switch, the action button appeared on the left edge (“action button”). Volume and power buttons remained in the usual places, the USB-C port is below.
Screen
The iPhone 16E has a 6.1 -inch display with a resolution of 2532 × 1170 pixels. The brightness reaches the summit (HDR) and 1,200 yarns under normal conditions that are the same as the iPhone 16. The screen is open and bright, even in the sun works great.
Color breeding is good, imaging angles are wide, some complain that the glass looks slightly looking at the bright light. According to bloggers, the same price segment is compared with the Samsung Galaxy A55 and Google Pixel 9, the iPhone 16e loses them at a few parameters at once: smoothness and size.
There is no dynamic island in the new model – an interactive area with a camera. Instead, as in the iPhone 14, they left the so -called “explosions”.
Battery
The processor of the model is the same as the iPhone 16 – A18. True, still something has changed the GPU. If there were five nuclear before, now there are four. In simple terms, therefore, the phone may not attract heavy games.
Warehouse
If you bought the iPhone with a memory of only 64 GB, you are not lucky. Now the storage starts from 128 GB to 512 GB. Apparently, models with less memory on the market were not popular.
Camera
IPhone 16e, f/1.6 aperture and optical stabilization only one camera-48 megapixel. This is the same as the iPhone 16, but without ultra -crononic lens. The model also does not have macro shootings.
In the afternoon, the pictures are sharp, correct color breeding and dynamic gap. As before, the night regime is automatically activated in the dark, improves detail, but the noise is noticed in low light.
Battery
The model is equipped with video playback up to 26 hours, 20 hours of flow video and a battery that provides 80 hours of sound. This is 12 hours larger than the iPhone SE 3 and 6 hours longer than that of iPhone 11.
The fee is made via USB-C. There is a fast charge: It takes about 1.5 hours to fully restore the battery in 30 minutes and 32% in 15 minutes.
