Burning with a star: It affected the style of a generation like the rockists of the late USSCR era

Exactly 44 years ago, legendary Leningrad Rock Club opened in the cultural capital, where the Russian rock period officially began. Music was of course before, but it was coming in the apartment, and rarely went beyond the “kitchens .. However, on March 7, 1981, in a small hall at the address: Rubinstein 13, the first legal concert of the “Leningrad Music Lovers Club ((yes, then then),“ picnic ”,“ Russians ”,“ myths ”and“ mirror ”group.

For the next 10 years, “Kino” songs played on the clubs of the club (then to the legendary group “Garin and Hyperbolids”, “DDT”, “DDT”, “Production”, Egor Letov, Alice, Auctsyon and Zoo. And all the beginners have dreamed of coming there. You can even know that you are listening to listening.

The emergence of such a youth power during the sunset of the USSR affected not only music and culture, but also the style of the entire generation. Kosokhi (if he was very lucky) or ordinary leather jackets were number one in any Soviet rockist’s wardrobe. True, it was not easy to get them – I had to communicate with farmers or search for commission stores. In the meantime, we talked about how young people were trying to dress in a separate material age in a separate material age. However, the Rocks have always been able to find something valuable. They wore them alcoholic T -shirts, t -shirts with pressures and even in a naked body. Following the example of idol, all Soviet and Post -Soviet youth became such a rebellious and deliberate careless outfit (or dreamed of changing clothes).

The favorite color of all Soviet rockists was black (not surprising considering the house deficit mentioned above). Leningrad Rock Club’s musicians, for example, Yegor Letov, Mike Naukenko or Viktor Tsoi, almost always appeared on the stage in dark images. Most of the time, they were absolutely remarkable pants, jackets and zipper jackets. However, with the accessories (we will talk later), all this looked in a very tedded way. Meanwhile, Victor Tsoi almost made the main chip of his image and admitted to one of the interviews that it was his favorite color.

And yes, they all wore an accessory in the room to protect the stage image. Soon, the sunglasses appeared in the virtues of all Leningrad (and not only) fashion enthusiasts.
