Fox Corp. Appoints Gabrielle Brown, Chief Investor Relations, Wall Street Veteran

Fox Corp., which just celebrated its third anniversary as a publicly traded company, has named Wall Street veteran Gabriel Brown as its new director of investor relations.

Retaining the rank of EVP and Chief Investor Relations Officer, Brown succeeds Joe Dorego, who founded the Fox IR operation in 2019. Dorego will continue to lead IR starting in 2020 after being promoted to COO and CFO of Fox News Media.

Brown will work in New York and report financial matters to Steve Tomsic.

During his Wall Street career, Brown was most recently CEO of UBS, focusing on the Internet and media sectors. Previously, he worked as a portfolio manager for BBT Capital Management Advisors, covering the Internet, technology, media, telecommunications and cables. He started his career at ABN AMRO in Capital Research.

The newly appointed CEO “brings a deep understanding of our industry and is a respected and influential voice in the investment community,” Tomsic said in a press release. “We look forward to using his valuable insights and experience on Fox’s behalf.
