“Bad Girl” is finally being released in Russia. The erotic thriller can be watched in cinemas from January 16. In honor of this, Nicole Kidman gave a candid interview to Izvestia.

The 57-year-old actor admitted that, in his opinion, the most important thing about the character of Romy is that: “She’s probably in a crisis situation, and that’s her strength as a hero. So it seems like she has everything she could ever dream of: a great husband, a great career, but at the same time, deep down, she still wonders what she really wants. The hero’s strength is that he can do anything, really anything! But can he be honest with himself? This is where the movie starts, this is our track. Here the hero begins to sabotage his life and career. And we follow it. “I personally think it’s an emotional and sexual adventure.”
Additionally, Nicole explained how this movie about a strong woman was different from the others in which she also starred: “I don’t know if this is an important movie, but it feels like a real, human movie to me. This is my personal feeling. And I really wanted to be a part of a work like this, not play something I’ve played a million times. And I’ve really never seen movies like this before. “I love how power is reflected in the film, how this power is the subject of the play, and how it is transferred from hero to hero.”

The action of the movie “Bad Girl” takes place in New York. The main character, Romy Matis, a successful businesswoman played by Nicole Kidman, runs a large technology company. At first glance, Romy lives in a happy marriage, but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong in her life. She begins a relationship with young intern Samuel, played by Harris Dickinson. Now Romy is in danger of losing both her marriage and her career.
