Enforcement proceedings for the collection of more than 1.1 billion rubles of taxes from Elena Blinovskaya have been terminated. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to relevant documents.
The reason was the bankruptcy of the blogger. As it turned out, 1,168,855,426 rubles were recovered from the businesswoman, but at the end of November 2024 it was decided to terminate this case. Blinovskaya’s main debt remains 2.5 thousand rubles to be paid. Most likely, the debt will be repaid using the property of the “queen of wish marathons”, which is being auctioned.
As Elena’s lawyer Ivan Morozov said, in November last year the blogger tried to sell the house for 600-650 million rubles in order to pay off the main tax debt by the end of December. However, considering the current situation, this was not possible.
Let us remind you that Elena Blinovskaya is accused of laundering proceeds of crime and tax evasion. The businesswoman was detained while trying to cross the border on April 27, 2023. The blogger has been in prison since January 22, 2024.
