Embraer 190 passenger plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed on Wednesday, December 25. The plane, which was urgently diverted to Aktau due to fog, crashed in Kazakhstan. RIA Novosti reported that there were 62 passengers and five crew members on board. Initially, the reason for the fall was hitting a flock of birds.

The Kazakh Ministry of Health reported that 12 people survived. They were taken to the city hospital. Doctors and psychologists work with victims. Kazakhstan Ministry of Transport announced that there were 16 Russians on the crashed plane. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic, 25 people survived.
The fire at the accident scene was extinguished. An investigation will be conducted into the incident. It was noted that the crew gave an emergency signal before the disaster.
