P Diddy’s legal proceedings are gaining new momentum every week. This time, it was learned that the musician may face new charges if he is found guilty of sex trafficking. Deadline writes about these and other details.

At the hearing, Assistant District Attorney Emily Johnson told the court she couldn’t say much about the feds’ ongoing investigation. Stating that the government has no plans to change the set trial date, Johnson stated that “any additional charges would contain very little disclosure information.”
Prosecutors have suggested that new charges against Combs are almost certain. And Johnson confirmed that all materials and messages between the first alleged victim and P. Diddy have already been transferred to the rapper’s legal team.
Combs, who was arrested by the NYPD on September 16, faces racketeering, human trafficking and sexual assault charges. He is currently behind bars and has been repeatedly denied bail. The artist’s trial is scheduled to begin on May 5 next year.
