Jude Law emotionally told People that he learned of Maggie’s mother’s death right after the news that she would be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 51-year-old actor admitted that he had to postpone the ceremony: “It was quite a long process because I found out a few weeks ago and I knew I was going to get the star. And actually I lost my mother. So we had to put it on hold. But in a very strange way, as a final gift, this , it meant that a few more members of my family could be here, so to be honest, the whole thing was quite an emotional experience and obviously a very personal one and it was really moving.”
Let us remind you that two of his seven children came to support the celebrity: his 28-year-old son Rafferty and his ex-wife Sadie Frost’s 24-year-old daughter Iris and his current wife Philippa Cohen. Jude Law said at the awards ceremony: “I am very lucky to have a family that shares and supports my passion for acting and filmmaking.”
