A few hours ago, the broadcast ended with the announcement of the winners of the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. Some of the show was recorded, some was broadcast live, and featured performances performed around the world while the artists were on tour.
This year, the most nominations went to Zach Bryan, who was a finalist in 18 categories with 21 entries on the list. Taylor Swift came in second with 17 nominations this year. Morgan Wallen ranked third with 15 nominations.
As a result of the award, Swift made history this year by winning 10 times in the Best Artist, Best Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top 100 Artists and many more categories. It currently has 49 awards. This is the largest number of award statuettes by any other artist.
Winners of the most anticipated categories of the award include Chappell Roan in the “Best New Artist” category, Morgan Wallen in the “Best Male Artist” category, and Fuerza Regida in the “Best Duo/Group” category.
Let’s remember that even though Taylor Swift took home 10 Billboard Music Awards this year, Beyoncé remains at the top of the biggest artists list. Swift came in second at the top, and her reaction wasn’t long in coming.
