The other day, Christina Asmus told how she injured her leg after an unfortunate fall on stage in the play “Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk”, where she played the main female role. After that, the artist stopped communicating, which seriously frightened his fans. Now he explained what happened on his personal blog.

“There is a lot of flexibility in the performance, physics, jumps, lifts, I wear heels and there is water on stage, the catwalks are slippery, so Lady Asmus fell awkwardly. Even at the beginning, damn it. For about seven seconds I wondered whether I should stop the performance, then for a few more scenes my knee whispered that we would hold on, and then I crawled, half-crazed and adrenaline-filled, toward the finale for more than two hours. My knee is flying out. “I do not recommend repeating this madness, it is painful and there is no need,” he explained.

The star of ‘Interns’ stated that the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee was ruptured and said: ‘Or rather, what was in its place, I had already torn this ligament nine years ago and they made me a new one from the tendon. And a repeat operation is now much more difficult and disgusting.”
