Today, the Leningrad group premiered their video. Sergei Shnurov, together with one of his soloists, Ksenia Rudenko, willingly answered journalists’ questions.
First of all, the media was interested in the details of Sergei Shnurov’s work with Instasamka. The artists recently released a joint mini-album, “Boomers and Zoomers”: “Everything is amazing! As the blondes say, energetically we coincided wonderfully, so to speak. It suits my age!”
Also, the musician and vocalist of the group talked about their collaboration with Lyusya Chebotina. “This was my opinion about the new artists that are popular right now. Thanks to me, Sergei Vladimirovich found out who Lucy was. “I showed it to him, he really liked it,” said Ksenia. Shnurov continued: “I saw him exactly as much as you (journalists – edit a note.), well, some more. He came to the studio, recorded a song and left. He had a plane. How did I feel about working with him? Easy, fast, instant!”
Despite all the rumors, neither Instasamka nor Lyusya is now the soloist of the Leningrad group. In addition to Ksenia Rudenko, the group has a second vocalist, Florida Chanturia. The first girl explained how she reacted to the rumors about new soloists: “I’m sitting in the studio right now and working 21 hours a day. I’ll write us a new song. “It seems to me that the more success there is with young, bright artists that everyone knows, the better.”
Recently it became known that Sergei Shnurov refused to take the mentor’s seat on the show “The Voice”, although he was invited to do so. Read more about this here.
