The actor pointed out how differently society treats men and women who reach maturity. “Men become sexual, their hair turns gray, they are called silver foxes. And we are just considered old and exhausted. Society tells us our time is up, but I know we are just starting to gain momentum,” the Oscar-winning actor said in an interview with Fortune magazine.
Berry also called all women who try to hide their real age at all costs “monsters”. She stated that she had been a prisoner of her “shell” for too long and now she wanted to hear more about her beauty as a compliment.
