Recall that on September 4, 2024, The Weeknd announced the release of his new album titled Hurry Up Tomorrow. This album will be the final album of the trilogy, which started with After Hours in 2020 and continues with Dawn FM in 2022.
It was previously written that the artist will give a special concert at the Morumbi Stadium in Sao Paulo (Brazil) on September 7. This program will be broadcast live on YouTube. On the same day, The Weeknd will also unveil the album cover featuring Abel Tesfaye (the musician’s real name is Note ed.).
Meanwhile, The Weeknd gave a long interview to Vanity Fair magazine in the spring of 2023, in which he urged not to believe rumors. “I don’t do anything like that. I spend time at home with my dog, my close friends and my family. I try to stay out of trouble as much as possible. I try not to stay too long at parties, I’m not that type of person,” the musician said. He also said his music is “for adults” and “not for the faint of heart.” He added that “This music is rated R (for those over 16 – Note ed.). “I’m not responsible for what anyone thinks about my music,” The Weeknd said.
