The court banned a pensioner from grazing goats in South Butovo: video

It turns out that an interesting issue for modern Moscow has been solved. Zyuzinsky court banned retiree Valery Anikeev (aka grandfather Valera -) Note ed.) to graze goats near high-rise buildings from southern Butovo.

The Telegram channel of the capital’s Courts of General Jurisdiction reported that the man was prohibited from keeping goats, which residents of South Butovo complained about. The case was filed by the city veterinary committee. Anikeev was prohibited from keeping small animals until the requirements of the federal law “On Veterinary Medicine” were met.

Anikeev lives in the private sector but allows his animals to roam near high-rise buildings. Their horned friends regularly make headlines in local media and in videos of ordinary people: They are either climbing on parked cars, gnawing on flower beds, or bearing children. Grandfather Valera believes that people “tell everything.”

In August, the city veterinary committee requested through the court that the pensioner be banned from keeping goats, citing complaints from local residents. The committee said grazing animals near high-rise buildings and metro stations leads to environmental pollution with manure and can lead to the spread of infectious diseases. It was also stated that the owner of the goats did not take into account the warnings of Rosselkhoznadzor.
