Justin posted footage of the actor laying flowers at the spontaneous memorial service. “Rest in peace Liam,” the singer wrote, accompanying the text with a broken heart emoji. “Remember, as a fan, you’re allowed to grieve. You’re allowed to love someone you’ve never met. You can admire someone for their art. You’re allowed to cry, you’re allowed to break down, you’re allowed to feel like a part of you is gone,” he said in the voiceover.

Liam and Justin became famous during their teenage years. In the beginning, their rivalry was only in the charts. The incident then escalated into a full-fledged fight. Footage of Payne trying to attack Bieber was even posted on YouTube. After a while, the young people matured and made peace.
