Ozzy Osbourne reveals the painful truth about his health

The 75-year-old rock singer admitted that he can no longer go on stage due to health problems. And it turns out it’s not related to Ozzy Osbourne’s recently diagnosed Parkinson’s disease.

The Sun quoted the star as saying: “I almost died, damn it, but it’s not Parkinson’s disease that’s stopping me from performing, it’s surgery.” The musician was seriously injured when he fell off an ATV in 2003. After this, his health began to deteriorate. Quality of life has greatly deteriorated due to numerous surgeries, constant pain and long rehabilitation.

Ozzy Osbourne was fitted with metal vertebrae. The situation worsened in 2019 when the singer tripped and fell in the dark, causing the plates to become dislodged. Since then, he has undergone seven surgeries, including a spine surgery, and the artist has lost the ability to walk normally. He admitted that this ruined his dream of appearing on stage again.

Additionally, Ozzy Osbourne has blood clots in his legs, which not only hinder his movement but also endanger his health when flying. This prevents the rocker from returning to England, which he has long dreamed of: “I miss home, but doctors won’t let me fly to London because of the risk.”

But Ozzy Osbourne does not lose his optimism and sense of humor. He admitted that he even considered wearing bionic legs to return to performing. By the way, they recently decided to induct the musician into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist (as a member of Black Sabbath, he was awarded this honor in 2006). Now Ozzy Osbourne continues to work on a new album that will be the sequel to his work “Patient Number 9”, released in 2022.
