Andrew Garfield has revealed how he changed his shooting schedule so he could spend time with Jessica Chastain’s dying mother, Lynne. The woman died of pancreatic cancer in England in 2019 while working on the movie “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” starring Andrew and Jessica.

The actor noted that he and Jessica had a warm relationship during this emotionally difficult time. “Jessica changed her schedule at the last minute, stopping filming for a few days so I could come back and spend ten days with my mom,” he told People.
“We got to know each other individually and had deep conversations. “I’m so grateful for the time I spent with my mother, especially when she was very ill,” he added.

As Lynn’s life drew to a close, one of Andrew’s colleagues, Vincent D’Onofrio, persuaded him to return to England. “He had his own experience of loss and couldn’t go back. “Go,” he said. You need to go,” Andrew recalled. “I knew I had to go and I was grateful for the support,” the actor continued.
Remember in the movie “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” Andrew Garfield and Jessica Chastain played infamous television evangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. The film, adapted from a 2000 documentary, was released in 2021 and earned Jessica an Oscar for Best Actress.
