Kate Middleton chose a lemon-coloured Emilia Wickstead dress and a matching hat for the event. He paid his respects to the Queen and attended the event. She wore diamond and pearl earrings that belonged to Elizabeth. Pearls were used for decoration, which were presented to the Queen and her late husband, Prince Philip, for their wedding in 1947. Princess Diana also wore these earrings in 1982.
Meghan Markle chose to go out in a white dress and hat: her image has been compared to Kate Middleton’s outfit, with which she appeared at the Bringing the Colors parade the day before.
