Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorneys say their client has adjusted well to prison over the years. But there is still a painful moment.
The rapper hates prison food so much that the civil rights activist raised the issue with reporters outside the courtroom. “I think the meals are probably the hardest part of being in prison,” Combs’ attorney, Mark Agnifilo, told People magazine.
Combs is being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center. His day behind bars begins at 6 a.m. with a breakfast of cereal, fruit and muffins. On weekdays, lunch is served at 23.00 and dinner is served after 16.00. Lunch includes burgers, baked fish or beef tacos, scrambled eggs and cookies on weekends.
Dinner menu items include chicken fajitas, pasta and roast beef. The prison also offers heart-healthy and vegetarian options like lentils, tofu, and baked beans.
According to the human rights defender, Diddy’s detention conditions are quite restrictive. He is kept in solitary confinement and is only allowed to take tracksuits and sneakers with him. The arrested person has no television, radio and of course no internet access. He is only allowed to read books: the Bible and other books that are changed once a week.
If P Diddy is transferred to the general cell, he will have a television. True, he will be one of the few divided by race. Overall, Combs will have about a hundred neighbors.
Let us remind you that a trial date has been set for Combs on Thursday, October 10, on sexual offense charges. The next meeting will be on May 5, 2025.
