A$AP Rocky describes the moment he realized Rihanna was ‘the one’

A$AP Rocky graces the cover of W Magazine’s latest issue, photographed by Rihanna. In an interview with the publication, the rapper talked about his family life and the moment he realized Rihanna was “the one.”

“I’ve known it since we were young. I think we both felt it. As we got older, everything fell into place. We just bonded,” he said.

Speaking of the pivotal moment at the Merce Hotel, she said, “This is a special place because this is where he fell in love with me.” The rapper recalled how Virgil Abloh shot the video for his song Fashion Killa in 2012: “It was the same couch that Rihanna and I were sitting on in the first scene… It was that room.”

A$AP Rocky, 35, and RiRi, 36, have two sons: 12-month-old Riza and one-year-old Riot. The couple tries not to reveal details about their children’s lives, but sometimes they make an exception. “I think Riza will keep to herself. He is an introvert, while Riot is an extrovert like his mother. Riza looks more like me. “He’s my twin,” she explained. “His forehead is from his mother, but everything else is from me. I love my son’s big forehead! I appreciate it, as does his mother.”

Speaking about the support he received from Rihanna, A$AP Rocky said: “She is my woman, my partner. She always knows when to lend support.” He added: “We both have areas we are good at. He will never be a great father because he is a great mother. “And I can’t be a great mother because I’m the best father in the world.”
