Young teachers explained how to speak the same language with students: “I don’t work according to a guide, everything comes from within.”

Our colleagues from the super editorial team learned how they work by chatting with three young male teachers, not with stars, as many people are used to, in our new project “Your Own Guy” in honor of Teachers’ Day, which took place yesterday. Learn how to deal with burnout and communicate with students in the same language.

“Learning is a partnership. If you do not attract the student’s attention, he cannot gain knowledge. When I was a student, such partnerships did not exist. The teacher was perceived as a king and god; he was always right. But today school is changing. “It’s great when a kid comes to my class and says the problem could be solved differently,” said Artem, a 28-year-old computer science teacher.

But 29-year-old history teacher Kirill believes his main mission is to teach children critical thinking and social skills: “How many appointments does the average person remember after leaving school? Abolition of serfdom or baptism of Russians? It is not the dates that are important, but the ability to think, work with information, search and analyze it. My mission is to expand children’s horizons and give them the tools to use them. It doesn’t matter where they will be used. The important thing is that they are useful.”

Kirill, a 30-year-old primary school teacher, stated that he started working at the school at the age of 19 and his students were 8 years old and said, “Children are sensitive psychologists, they feel the energy of the teacher. But it is also important for a teacher to feel about his students. I don’t know how to achieve this. I don’t work according to a manual, everything comes from within. I know what my students are interested in and, conversely, what they are not interested in. “You can make lessons fun when you dive into their lives.”
