WhatsApp has another update: Messenger has released new filters and backgrounds for video calls.
“Filters can help you create a more relaxed atmosphere: add bright colors to your video or give it a special expressiveness. And thanks to the backgrounds, your room will be hidden from prying eyes. Transport yourself to a cozy cafe or living room, removing everything unnecessary from the frame,” says the messenger’s website site.
There are ten filters in total and ten backgrounds that can be combined, including “Warm”, “Cold”, “Black and White”, “Dreamy” and others. “Retouching” and “Night Scene” effects have also been added.
To take advantage of the update, during a personal or group video call, click on the effect icons in the upper right corner of the screen and select the effect you want. It is stated that these effects will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
