Superstars from both sides of the Atlantic joined forces in London on Saturday night to host a platinum party at the palace as part of the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the British monarch’s accession to the throne.
Diana Ross, Niall Rogers, Lynn-Manuel Miranda and Alicia Keys have joined British names including Queen, Duran Duran, Sir Rod Stewart and Sir Elton Johnny at Buckingham Palace in the official Queen’s London.
Twenty years ago, Queen guitarist Brian May celebrated his golden jubilee by playing the national anthem on guitar from the roof of Buckingham Palace.

This time around, Queen began working with Adam Lambert on “We Will Rock You” before launching a star-studded late-night catalog that would offer something for everyone.
Highlights of the concert included Alicia Case performing her big hits “Empire State of Mind” (lyrics changed from New York to London) and “This Girl Is on Fire”, Duran Duran dug into her treasure trove of hits to perform “Notorious”. and “Girls at the cinema”, aAndrea Bocelli put people on their feet with the exciting “Nesun Dormati”.
Even when Diana Ross was in office, perhaps the biggest star of the night was the light show, with some dazzling images of the Queen on the palace walls and other lights in the London night sky.
