Lie to Me star and Quentin Tarantino favourite Tim Roth has joined the Peaky Blinders ranks, with production set to begin this year.
It is not yet known who the Oscar nominee will play. Deadline writes that there is no information about his role. Details regarding Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson’s involvement are also being kept under wraps. Oscar winner Cillian Murphy will return to the iconic role of Tommy Shelby, the leader of the Birmingham gangster family. The feature film will be directed by series creator Tom Harper.
Let us also remind you that the sensational series, which started airing in 2013, ended in April 2022 after six seasons. The series takes place in 1919, in Britain after the First World War. The plot focuses on the struggle between criminal gangs, one of the most powerful of which is the Peaky Blinders.
