Pavel Durov has been in France on bail since August. Now it is known exactly where the entrepreneur has been living all this time. Le Monde reports.

The publication reports that the billionaire is staying at one of the most luxurious hotels in Paris – Hotel de Crillon. By the way, a day here can cost from 200 to 900 thousand rubles. Initially, Pavel was offered an apartment to live by his friend Xavier Niel, but the businessman rejected the offer.
“Pavel Durov found accommodation at the luxurious Crillon Hotel, a stone’s throw from the Champs Elysees. Now he is looking for another place, which he could probably rent on a more permanent basis,” the publication reports.

Let’s recall that on August 24, it became known that Telegram founder Pavel Durov was detained at a French airport. He was accused of refusing to cooperate in cyber and financial crimes in Telegram. Previously, the businessman faced up to 20 years in prison. Today, BFMTV reported that the billionaire was released from custody. The media wrote that “the investigating judge terminated his detention in police custody for the purpose of preliminary questioning and possible criminal charges.” The prosecutor’s office reported that the preliminary investigation into the Telegram case in France was launched in February 2024.
