The fashion industry definitely has a sense of humor. How else can we explain the desire of designers and stylists to create viral things that instantly spread on social networks? It seems that creative directors of fashion brands deliberately go against the rules. Don’t you like ripped clothes? Here are jeans and tops with holes in them. Do you complain that you can’t fit anything in your bag? Get a ridiculously large accessory. Do you judge people who wear wrinkled clothes? Then check out the new trend.

It looks like next season we’ll all be following in the footsteps of Zoomers and giving up ironing. Indeed, crumpled trench coats, suits, trousers and dresses were the focus of attention at Bottega Veneta, Prada and Ferragamo shows during Milan Fashion Week. Even Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons relied on “broken” shirt collars.

But don’t think someone forgot to steam half the collection. The branded items have undergone special treatments to achieve this fabric effect. And something tells us that wrinkled things will be everywhere come spring. Let’s take note of the images from the shows.
