21-year-old Dallas resident Brian Hernandez reportedly broke into the city’s Art Museum and began destroying exhibits shortly before it closed. The young man smashed glass boxes containing ancient Greek artifacts with a chair.

In total, Hernandez destroyed the exhibits for $5 million – and that’s only an approximate amount of damage. An ancient amphora (450 BC) and a ceramic bottle belonging to the Caddo Indians fell under his hand. When the violator was detained, he did not resist and did not deny his guilt. He told the police that he was very angry with his girlfriend, so he decided to vent his anger. At the same time, his girlfriend does not work at the museum and has nothing to do with it.
Museum representatives confirmed that nothing was lost after Hernandez’s attack. “The man obviously did it in anger, he had no intention of stealing anything.” Now the man is accused of hooliganism.
