People reporters asked Brad Pitt who he would give the publication’s hottest award this year. Pitt said, “George Clooney is the sexiest man alive.”
Pitt became the first person to grace the cover of People magazine as the “Sexiest Man Alive” in 1995. Clooney won the award in 1997 and 2000, and Pitt made a comeback in 2006.
Along with Clooney and Pitt, Richard Gere and Johnny Depp have also received the title twice.
