The best looks from stars at the 2024 Emmy Awards

The new season has just begun and the stars are already (as they say) in flux and flow. Last week, as it was time to move on to the Emmy Awards, which have proudly taken their place on the podium of the world’s major cultural events for many years, we discussed the best and worst looks of the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

Traditionally, the Oscars for series are held in Los Angeles in early September. And the 76th Emmy Awards are no exception. Tonight (Moscow time, of course) our favorite TV series heroes gathered at the Microsoft Theater to receive their honors and show off their amazing looks. But did they turn out as amazing as the stylists intended? That’s what we have to figure out. In our article, we tell you about the best looks of the stars on the Emmys 2024 red carpet.

Let’s start with the fact that red refuses to leave the trend list. The passionate hue is still appreciated by stylists and A-list stars. So there was a real war of red looks on the Emmy 2024 carpet. For example, Fallout star Aaron Moten chose a Kenzo suit, Sofia Vergara a sexy Dolce & Gabbana dress, and Gillian Jacobs chose an outfit consisting of a corset top and Roland Moure skirt.

But representatives of the film industry recommend not to forget about the soft pink color. Meryl Streep, Rita Ora and Eiza Gonzalez relied on it. Of course, there were many more stars who wore looks in this color, but only they were in the best-dressed ranking (unfortunately).

The next obvious trend on the 2024 Emmy Awards red carpet was metallic colors. Gillian Anderson, Kristen Wiig, Fallout’s Ella Purnell and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan showed up in shimmering silver looks. The latter, however, was included in the rating under the code name “worst”, but that’s not the point right now. It proved once again that the amount of metallics at the event should not be written off.

As for the male images, not everyone was satisfied. The Fashion Vibes’s fashion department gives the gold medal to Canadian actor and screenwriter Dan Levy in Loewe, which he certainly deserves, the silver medal goes to Anthony Bridgerton, aka Jonathan Bailey, in Giorgio Armani, but the bronze medal goes to Jeremy Allen White in Calvin Klein, just for his beautiful eyes.
