Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s son Jayden James turned 18 on Thursday, but he will continue to receive financial assistance from his mother.
TMZ writes that Britney will pay child support until November. The singer’s prenuptial agreement states that payments will stop once her son reaches adulthood or graduates high school. The star’s financial obligations are due at a later date.
The publication reported that the teenager will graduate early from high school in Hawaii in November, so the payments will continue until then. Initially, Britney had to pay almost two million rubles a month. In 2018, this amount was doubled.
Over the years, Spears has had a rocky relationship with her sons. Kevin Federline claimed that the children were disparaging of their mother because of online nudity. Last year, Britney said she had not been in contact with her children for more than a year because they were no longer returning her calls. This year, the relationship between mother and sons began to improve. She has flown to visit her sons and stayed in touch with them by phone.
