Kate Moss’s famous paleness and thinness became her ticket to the world of luxury fashion. But the girl paid the price for it with peace of mind. Instead of admiring fans, angry haters defended her on the street.
Moss, now 50, recalls with horror the 1990s, when her popularity peaked, and said she was constantly subjected to aggression from parents of teenagers who believed the model promoted painful thinness.

“Parents would come up to me and say, ‘You’re the reason my daughter is anorexic.’ It was terrifying. I think people weren’t used to seeing skinny models at the time. But it really wouldn’t have been a big deal. My body was so different than anyone else’s before me,” Kate says in a new Disney+ documentary.
Recently, the model again found herself in the epicenter of a scandal. Kate Moss was suspected of using illegal substances. By the way, this is not the first case. Read about seven other high-profile stories involving her and models in this material.
