The passions surrounding the high-profile case of a cameraman being killed on the set of the Western series “Rust” are not abating. Propper Hannah Gutierrez-Reid has pleaded guilty to another firearms crime.
It was revealed that just 20 days before the murder of camerawoman Galina Hutchins, the girl had smuggled a gun into a bar. According to People , investigators found a video that Gutierrez-Reed shot at the entertainment establishment.

“After successfully getting through security at the bar, she went to the bathroom and took a selfie video saying, ‘They checked my bag but they didn’t check my underwear!’ She was holding a nickel-plated semiautomatic handgun in front of the camera at the time, according to court documents. Her attorney, Jason Bowles, said Wednesday that Gutierrez-Reed agreed to 18 months of probation as part of the deal.
Let us remind you that on October 21, 2021, when the tragedy occurred, 26-year-old Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was responsible for the firearms on set. She mixed the cartridges and gave actor Alec Baldwin a live bullet instead of a blank. As a result, the cameraman died and the director of the film, Joel Souza, was injured. Baldwin was found not guilty by the court.
