Zach Braff, who plays JD on Scrubs, has spoken out about the cult series reboot for the first time, revealing that the project has been delayed in its launch in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“I’ll tell you something that other people don’t know. Scrubs is a Disney show. Bill (Lawrence, creator of Scrubs and Ted Lasso) made a deal with Warner Bros. I think when those two companies figure that out, people will get what they want,” he said. He expressed hope that the “Clinic” reboot will still happen.
When asked if Braff would be interested in reprising his role as John Dorian, the actor responded positively: “It would be fun to do it with some of my favorite people.” Zach added that he remains on friendly terms with the show’s cast. According to the actor, he was recently on vacation with his colleague Sarah Chalk. And he’ll soon be hitting the beach with Bill Lawrence.
In early August, the Scrubs creator said the series would definitely be rebooted. He didn’t give a specific date, noting that it would happen within the next five years. In a comment to the Independent, Bill Lawrence discussed a possible Scrubs cast reunion, but not in film form.
Let us also remind you that in April this year, the actors of the series Scrubs came together after 14 years. Read about it here.
