Jenna Ortega, the star of “Beetlejuice” and “Wednesday,” has deleted her account from the popular social network, blaming neural networks for the damage.
The girl is now 21 years old, but as a teenager she fell into an unpleasant situation. She was asked to follow a link to get unique profile privileges. The actress fell into this trap and in return received a stream of sexualized images of herself. Frightened, she immediately deleted the page.
“I hate neural networks. I created an account when I was 14 because I needed it. Then I saw edited sexually explicit content with my picture on it. NO. This is terrible. This is wrong,” Ortega said on The Interview podcast.
At the age of 12, she also received an email message from an anonymous man containing intimate photos. Luckily, Jenna now has someone to share her experiences with; she has found a common language with actress Winona Ryder. They have been on the same wavelength literally since the filming of Beetlejuice.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Cage is also unhappy with neural networks; he fears that after his death, executives will use his biometric data to create deepfakes.
