The businesswoman is ready to sell an apartment worth about 90 million rubles to pay off her debt to the Federal Tax Service, RIA Novosti reported. Today, the Moscow Arbitration Court was supposed to consider the bankruptcy application of Elena Blinovskaya, but postponed the hearing until November to await the results of the audit and the appeal against the decision of the regional court examining the criminal case.

The representative of the “marathon queen” Ivan Morozov explained that the procedure for repaying the debt is as follows: they find a buyer for the property, open a letter of credit for a tax account in the bank, go to the inspector and remove the money from the property for seizure. He said that the case is now sent to court, where they also filed a petition to remove the arrest from the apartment and make it available for sale, but the court has not yet considered it.

The lawyer noted that the apartment belonged to Elena Blinovskaya’s father, but he was arrested as part of the criminal case. According to Morozov, the money from the sale of all property will be enough to pay off all debts, but it is impossible to sell it because of the arrests.

In turn, the representative of the tax office added that the articles in which the blogger is accused provide for the confiscation of property. In this case, he will never pay off his debt to the Federal Tax Service.

It is known that 25 thousand rubles were deposited into court as compensation for future legal expenses. The court is looking for an arbitration manager who will have to deal with debts in case of initiation of bankruptcy proceedings. Themis’ servants also involved guardianship and trusteeship authorities in the case, since Elena Blinovskaya has children.

It was previously learned that the businesswoman’s detention was extended by six months. Read about it here.
