The presenter and producer of popular make-up shows brought together girls who are ready to compete for the title of the country’s leading fashionista in a new project. The premiere of the fashion game “Who is the coolest?” With Alexander Rogov will take place on August 18 at 09:00 on the STS TV channel and will be broadcast on Sundays.
Alexander Rogov said that during his 20-year career as a stylist, he transformed more than 1,000 people, gave many master classes, opened a clothing brand, published a book with advice and several TV programs. “At some point, I realized that the audience needed a break from classical transformations, and in this direction I completed my ten-year service at STS. The audience training was over, it was time to take a fashion exam. Why not do it in a new experimental show? – added the producer.
Together with the presenter, the images of the heroes are evaluated by invited famous guests and a permanent expert – stylist and fashion coach Lina Dembikova. She admitted that she was looking for a bright character who thinks interestingly, knows everything about television, has a lot of style experience and a special appearance. Rogov believes that the person in the frame should evoke emotion: “And Lina evokes it too.”
Alexander likes his relationship with Dembikova: sometimes friendly, sometimes everyone around discusses it. “Lina and I had conflicts on social networks, I criticized her pictures, we often argue, and this is exactly what our program needs. “The conflict of interests is always bright, interesting and contrasting,” Rogov said.
Each episode of the show features three different girls who consider themselves fashionable. The heroes are “kidnapped” from their homes by agents of the program “Who’s the Coolest?” They secretly take all the clothes, shoes, accessories and objects that mention the girls, as well as the participants, so Alexander draws a portrait of each contestant competing for victory.
Participants watch the “fashion decision” on the monitor in a separate trailer, which takes them to a personal meeting with Rogov. After the analysis, the presenter meets with fashionistas and sends one of them home, giving the finalists a competitive task – to put together a fashionable look in a certain style in just one hour and show it on the catwalk.
In the final, Alexander Rogov, Lina Dembikova and invited guests give marks. As a result, only one hero will receive the winning statuette, the title of the Coolest Fashionista of the Week and 50,000 rubles.
Spoiler: The first contestants were the owner of a legal agency, a fan of upcycling and a stylist-blogger. The cosmetologist, St. Petersburg art and make-up artist Glasha Guryanova, helped them realize the final images, and the star guest singer Olga Seryabkina, together with Alexander and Lina, “came to a decision.”
The project has already starred famous guests: Vladimir Marconi, Valya Carnival, Irina Gorbacheva, Milana Khametova, Alexander Belkovich, Yulia Gavrilina and others.
