Our editors were shocked when the first footage from the horror movie “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” appeared on the Web. Who would have thought that 95 years later we would watch our favorite characters turn into killers. And as we walk away from the gruesome scene, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield lifted the veil of secrecy and talked a little about the plot of the movie.
We understand that the versions of the heroes will be different, but we also admit that we were not ready for that. To him, now Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are arrogant sadists that adult Christopher Robin stopped looking at. And they (oh, horror) ate the lovely donkey Eeyore.
Note that the movie “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” was shot in the UK in 10 days. The horror movie was directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. The movie stars Craig David Dowsett, Chris Cordell, Amber Doig-Thorn, Daniel Scott and Daniel Ronald. The release date is not yet known.
