Let us remind you that Elena Blinovskaya was detained while trying to cross the border on April 27, 2023. At that time, she was accused of evading more than 918 million in taxes and legalizing 43 million rubles. Taking into account unpaid fines, the total debt amounted to 1 billion 400 million.
The entrepreneur paid only 55 million rubles at a time. On December 29, the businesswoman filed a lawsuit with the tax authorities, demanding that the decisions of the federal service be invalidated. On January 22, the court ruled to transfer Elena to a pre-trial detention center. In early August, the prosecutor’s office issued an indictment in the criminal case of the blogger.
