In the age of reboots, Scrubs could be the next show from the past to make a comeback, the project’s creators say.
Series creator Bill Lawrence has confirmed plans to bring the series back, and has confidently stated that it will definitely happen. The director and actor who plays the cleaner are looking to start production in the coming months.
As for what the revival would look like, Lawrence confirmed that she would rather do another series than a reunion movie or special. LadBible writes that she wants to feature older characters and a younger cast.
“The healthcare workers here right now are, to me, heroes. It’s a tough road and nobody becomes a doctor to get rich these days, we’re all just hanging out and talking,” Lawrence said.
By the way, recently the stars of the series “Scrubs” appeared in a joint photo. The photo was posted on social media by actor John McGinley, who plays Dr. Perry Cox in the sitcom.
