Keanu Reeves is not only a talented actor, but also a writer. IGN writes that an animated series based on his comic book BRZRKR is already in development. The project was run by showrunner Mattson Tomlin (“Terminator Zero”).

Tomlin shared her plans for the series, which has been ordered into production in 2021. Originally, the artist’s comic was supposed to be turned into both an action movie and a two-season animated series. It is assumed that Keanu Reeves will portray the main character in the film and voice him in the cartoon.
The showrunner said he is working on both projects and has already submitted a draft of the script to producers. He is currently looking for a film crew and plans to start work this fall, he said.
“The Animatrix has a special place in our hearts. “We have the opportunity to transport audiences into the worlds of comics and special editions, while also paying homage to the anime we love so much,” said the president of publishing house Boom! Studios, where the comics are published.
The BRZRKR comics are written by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt. The first volume contained 12 issues, telling the story of Berserker, a demigod who has lived for 80 thousand years and is searching for a cure for immortality.
Keanu Reeves has previously spoken about how “The Matrix” changed his life. Read about it here.
