Although they decided to remove Jack Sparrow from the continuation of the franchise, he will remain in the hearts of fans forever. This is exactly what is confirmed especially by the work of American enthusiasts who turned a popular series of comedy action films into a rather dark anime.





Just look at these frames – you can easily believe that something similar could have been drawn in the 1990s.
Orlando Bloom’s character here is a genuinely handsome man, albeit without a moustache or beard, painfully reminiscent of the long-haired Antonio Banderas, and the anime’s Keira Knightley could easily replace the heroines of Hayao Miyazaki’s complete works. But the coolest of them all was, of course, Davy Jones.
In movies, this octopus-headed monster makes you laugh more than it scares you, but in anime it looks pretty scary, if only because it has as few human features as possible. Fear, and that’s it! And the exact same thing can be said about Jack Sparrow’s skeleton.
