Justin Timberlake’s lawyer is unable to get charges dropped. The singer was not drunk and there is evidence to support that, but prosecutors remain firm. The artist’s next hearing is scheduled for August 2.

“The most important thing to know is that Justin should not have been arrested for drunk driving. The police made some very significant mistakes,” the lawyer told Deadline.
The lawyer asked the judge to dismiss the charges against Timberlake because the report was initially misrepresented, and that the “young” officer had no superior who could have overseen the process.
However, the judge ruled that the case should continue because the document issue was not related to the crime committed by the star.
The lawyer assured Justin that he would help him avoid punishment. The lawyer noted that Timberlake was currently doing well and was on tour in Europe, but stressed, “The facts remain the facts, he was not drunk.”
