A new Superman movie is in development, but it’s already garnering a bad rap. First, the film’s stunt double suffered a serious accident, and now a member of staff on the project has died on set.
On Wednesday morning, a message emerged that a woman had fallen ill in a car in the parking lot of a film studio. Rescue teams and police teams who arrived at the scene determined that the employee had committed suicide.
The evidence gathered did not indicate any foul play, and the investigation is unrelated to any of the studio’s current projects. “There are no additional details available at this time as the investigation has just begun,” police captain Austin Dunn told Entertainment Weekly.
Superman: Legacy will be released on July 11, 2025. The story is about Superman balancing his alien and human nature. Last year, Henry Cavill announced that he would not return to play Superman in DC movies. According to him, this decision was made by director James Gunn. The actor did not explain the reason for his dismissal, but urged fans not to be upset.
