Jury finds guilty in Alec Baldwin murder case

The court dismissed the case against Alec Baldwin for the death of cameraman Galina Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust. It was later reported that new cases were filed against the actor. However, the jury does not see the point of a retrial because they believe the celebrity is innocent.

Marquez, who served as a juror, said prosecutors specifically targeted Alec Baldwin because he was a famous person. She said “this was handled wrongly from the beginning.” She came to that conclusion by watching how evidence of the murder was presented.

In footage shown in court, prosecutors revealed that Baldwin was searching for a fake gun. It was revealed that the actor had taken the accessories from the hands of gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. In March, a film production worker was convicted of manslaughter after accidentally loading live ammunition. He was sentenced to one and a half years in prison.

The jury believes the gunsmith is solely responsible for the shooting. “I felt like he was responsible for what happened,” Marquez told People. The girl said the investigation went too far. “It doesn’t make any sense. It just seems to me like they had to pin the death on someone,” she concluded.
