According to the artist, there are now two “extremes” in his country, “more to the left and more to the right” and “there is no talk of decency anymore.”
McConaughey said he was “considering running.” He was set to run for governor of Texas in 2021, but then changed his mind. Matthew said he’s “learned a lot” over the past six years, and joked the other day that he’s “learned a lot” while drinking tequila with the governors. The actor was reportedly considering a run for president in addition to his gubernatorial bid.
