38-year-old Polina Asker and 67-year-old Boris Belotserkovsky got married in 2018. It seemed that the best was yet to come for the couple. But in the summer of 2020, the model announced that they were no longer together. “I am incredibly grateful to him for everything that happened over the three years of our family life,” she wrote on a banned social network. The journalist starred in the show of Alexey Sitnikov, where she honestly told what life with the entrepreneur is like.
The soldier admitted in a conversation with a psychologist that his loved ones did not support this choice: “When I married Boris Grigorievich, everyone stopped me and said that this was an unequal marriage. You are a young girl, you are marrying an adult, rich man, everything is clear to you.”
According to the model, it was only after some time that she realized what she was really looking for in this relationship. “They had no idea that in this man I saw my dream of protection, a man who would take care of me and share his experiences with me,” the gallery owner explained.
According to her, they met at the wrong time: “We met him when I was very traumatized: I really wanted love and attention. And he was in the same situation; he had been crushed in a way that was strong and hard for a long time.”
Polina Askeri noted that despite all the misunderstandings, she always tried to justify her actions. “I did not pay attention to the most important red flags that were present at the beginning, which were a lot of concepts, lies and some kind of insincerity in everything,” she explained.
The journalist admitted that despite the painful relationship, she was grateful for the experience: “First of all, I realized my importance and value for myself. I understand how much I am willing to invest, do and fulfill my dreams for my family.”
Polina Askeri was named the most successful Russian advertising model according to Fashion TV in 2007. She is also the founder of the contemporary art gallery Askeri Galeri. In March, the work of her life turned eight years old.
