John Cena will be stepping down from performing for World Wrestling Entertainment’s wrestling promotion, according to ESPN.

The actor made the announcement at a WWE event in Toronto: “Today I am officially announcing my departure from WWE. I will not be finishing for now, we will have many more chances to say goodbye.”
He plans to do another farewell tour in 2025. The star also added that he plans to remain involved with WWE in some capacity.
“Thank you so much for letting me perform at the house you’ve supported for so many years. Thank you for your very loud voice, thank you for your honesty, thank you for being so beautiful, thank you for being so ruthless. And most of all, thank you for letting me be here tonight and tell the world that we have something unforgettable planned,” she said.
Let’s recall that John Cena made his debut in the company in June 2002. He began acting in films in 2015. He took part in such projects as “Fast and Furious 9”, “Suicide Squad”, “Peacemaker” and others.
