Comedian Marlon Wayans was targeted by robbers. The 51-year-old artist was on a business trip when intruders stole his safe.
Marlon’s older brother, Keenen Ivory Wayans, 66, was an unwitting witness to the incident. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the thieves broke into Marlon’s backyard and broke the rear window.
Keenen reported waking up from the noise but not understanding what had happened and went back to bed. Authorities told the press that one of Marlon’s employees returned home at around 8 a.m. and saw that the house had been ransacked.
The thieves stole a safe and several thousand dollars. So far, police have not arrested a single suspect. Recently, an intruder tried to enter Will Smith’s house but failed thanks to the star’s security.
