“I’m Raising My Child in Co-Parenting”: Meeting with Alexis, Father of a Baby Girl

Alexis co-parents an 18-month-old baby girl with her friend Delphine. In the video she tells Madmoizelle about their journey, from attempts at artisanal insemination to living together to create this united and happy family that resembles him.

On May 18 and 19, 2024, the Family Pride Festival took place at the Cité Fertile (Pantin), to promote LGBTQIA+ parenting. On this occasion, Madmoizelle met Alexis, who talked about how she creates a family through co-parenting.

The desire for a child and a friendly crush

Alexis met Delphine, the mother of his daughter, in 2021. Very quickly, a strong friendship was sealed, followed by a co-parenting project. Let’s go “with a quick sentence”spoken by Delphine, who “We proposed becoming parents together. Two months later, artisanal insemination trials began. Today Alexis and Delphine live in a house with their 18 month old baby.

A few months after the birth of her daughter, Alexis met her partner and he found his place in this happy and stable family.
