House of the Dragon star Olivia Cooke says a “fucking salacious” sex scene has been removed from the film. The actress thought it was very unaesthetic.

Alicent Hightower, who plays the second wife of King Viserys I Targaryen, stated that she was “very dirty” and “ugly” in an interview with Elle. But he added that “filming was really fun.” He described the cut piece as animalistic.
The actor added that showrunner Ryan Condal decided that this scene was not needed because it didn’t say anything new about the characters. Olivia Cooke herself is “a little bit against it” but accepted the executive producer’s decision.
The celebrity admitted that she expected more sex scenes from the cast of the series. Deadline writes that in the first episode of House of the Dragon’s second season, there is a scene where Criston Cohl (played by Fabien Frankel) pleasures Alicent.
